The famous Knight Jean de Daillon was an officer and advisor to France's King Charles VIII. He became most famous for riding with Joan of Arc when she took Orléans. We see him astride his trusty horse in full military regalia; his banner, the wolf insignia, is clearly visible above his striking visage. Woven in wool, this French Jacquard weave is the perfect addition to any history or Old World lover's library or study.
We source some of our woven tapestry textiles from France, Belgium, Italy, and Spain, countries with long and celebrated histories of textile artistry. From there, much of the finishing work takes place in our own studio.
